Trogir
The historic town of Trogir, located only a few minutes from Čiovo, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trogir was founded as a Greek settlement in the 3rd century BC and later developed under Roman and Venetian influence. Today it is best known for its remarkably preserved historic centre, where medieval streets, Romanesque churches and Renaissance palaces create one of the most beautiful old towns on the Adriatic.
Gospa od Prizidnice
This unique sanctuary is located on the southern cliffs of Čiovo Island and offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Built by priests in the 16th century seeking solitude and spiritual peace, the church of Our Lady of Prizidnice is today one of the most special cultural and spiritual sites in the region.
Salona
Salona, located near the town of Solin, was once the capital of the Roman province of Dalmatia. Today it is one of the most important archaeological sites in Croatia.
