Accommodation & Privacy
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM until midnight.
Check-out is no later than 10:00 AM.
If possible, we are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests; however, this depends entirely on availability.
Do we rent the entire villa if we book all apartments?
No. The villa consists of several units, but only four apartments are available for guests. The remaining parts of the property are privately used. Regardless of how many apartments are booked, someone from the private household is always present on-site.
Is there a washing machine in the apartment?
Apartments do not include a washing machine. However, laundry service is available within the villa for a small additional fee.
Are towels and bed linen provided?
Yes. Beds are prepared upon arrival. Each guest receives one large and one small towel, as well as a bathroom floor towel. Please note that apartment towels are not intended for beach use.
Is Wi-Fi available and included in the price?
Yes, the villa provides complimentary Wi-Fi. Signal strength may vary slightly depending on your location within the property.
Can we invite outside guests during our stay?
As Villa Mirjana is a private property and not a hotel, outside visitors are generally not permitted. Exceptions may be possible in specific situations, but only with prior approval.
Are pets allowed?
We are animal lovers (we have a dog ourselves), and pets are generally welcome for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance to confirm availability and suitability.
Are pets allowed in the swimming pool?
Unfortunately, no. The pool is shared among all guests, and we aim to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. There are dog-friendly beaches approximately a 15-minute walk along the coastline.
Outdoor Area & Surroundings
Is parking available?
Yes.
Each apartment includes one reserved parking space for a standard-sized car.
Do we need a car?
If you would like to fully explore the island and surrounding area, we strongly recommend having a car. Public transportation is limited, and the terrain is typically Mediterranean — narrow streets, hills, and limited sidewalks.
Is it possible to explore on foot?
Yes, but it is recommended for guests in good physical condition. Summer temperatures often exceed 30°C (86°F), and the terrain includes uphill and downhill paths. The beach is within walking distance.
Is the swimming pool heated?
Currently, the pool is not heated. Water temperature depends entirely on weather conditions and seasonal temperatures.
Is there a barbecue available?
Yes. A gas Weber barbecue is available to all guests in the rose garden area.
As this space is designed for one family at a time to ensure privacy, we kindly ask you to inform Ivona in advance if you would like to use it.
A table and benches are provided next to the barbecue, allowing you to enjoy your meal and time together in a private outdoor setting.
How far is the nearest shop and restaurant?
The nearest grocery store is approximately 800 meters away.
Please note that island prices are generally higher than on the mainland, so we recommend purchasing only essentials locally. Larger supermarkets on the mainland are more suitable for major shopping.
The nearest restaurant is also located about 800 meters from the villa.
How far is the beach and what types of beaches are nearby?
Villa Mirjana is located in a quieter part of the island. Nearby beaches (walking distance from 250m) vary from pebble beaches to concrete platforms.
In Croatia, all beaches are public, meaning you are free to swim wherever you find a comfortable spot.
The longest and most lively beach is approximately 1.2 km away and offers numerous bars, restaurants, fast-food options, and water activities.
